Specifies a general posting type that will be used with the GST statement.
The general posting type, together with the GST Bus. Posting Group and GST Prod. Posting Group fields, determines which GST entries from the GST Entry table will be totalled.
You do not need to fill in this field unless you have selected GST Entry Totalling in the Type field.
Specify the GST entries that will be totalled by choosing the field and selecting one of the three options:
<Blank> | The general posting type will be Blank if you do not enter anything in the field. Note however that the Blank option should be replaced because GST entries always have a general posting type. |
Purchase | Select this option if the input tax credit entries should be totalled. |
Sale | Select this option if the GST entries should be totalled. |
Settlement | The line totals GST entries of the Settlement type. |
