Specifies what the GST statement line will include.
You can use the GST statement line to have either G/L entries, GST entries, or rows totalled. You can also use individual GST statement lines exclusively for texts.
As a default, newly set up GST statement lines are assumed to be for totalled G/L entries, but you can change this.
Account Totalling means that the program totals G/L entries (not GST entries). You can select Account Totalling on particular lines, for example, to add up energy taxes on the GST statement. If you select this option, you must also fill in the Account Totalling field.
GST Entry Totalling means that the program totals GST using GST entries. If you select this option, you must also fill in the Gen. Posting Type, GST Bus. Posting Group, GST Prod. Posting Group and Amount Type fields.
Row Totalling means that the program totals rows from the GST statement. This means that you can use a GST statement line to define totalling of other lines in the GST statement. If you select this option, you must also fill in the Row Totalling field.
Description means that you can enter only text or symbols (for example, a dotted line) on the statement line.
Important |
|---|
| You can select Account Totalling, if you do not want to create a GST statement based on the GST Entry table, but instead based exclusively on G/L entries. But if you want to fill out a complete GST statement, including all the information needed by the customs and tax authorities, it is an advantage to use totalling of GST entries for all calculations of purchase and GST as well as for the extra information found in A, B and C at the bottom of the GST statement. You supplement this with totalling of G/L entries for deductions of various taxes. |
