Shows the entry's posting date. You cannot change the date because the entry has been posted.
This field is filled in from one of the following fields:

If the entry was posted from a journal line, the date is copied from the Posting Date field on the journal line.

If the entry was posted from an invoice or CR/Adj Note, the date is copied from the Posting Date field on the purchase header or the Posting Date field on the sales header.
